More love for Parachute Panic

In this week’s episode both Kevin and I sung the praises of the new game Parachute Panic. It looks like we’re not the only ones who took notice of it- The Unofficial Apple Weblob (TUAW) also highlighted it in a blog post late yesterday, proving that they either also have a good eye for apps or they listen to The Appcast and agreed with our assessment of it. Either way, it’s definitely a fun game, so it’s nice to see it getting exposure elsewhere.

Gaming Wednesday: Lumen

Lumen (Free Lite Version, $1.99 for full) Since Kevin is busy with work, I get to take Gaming Wednesday over again. Mwaahaahaahaa. The game I’m going to highlight on this week’s Gaming Wednesday is Lumen, a puzzle game that uses lasers, filters, and reflectors. A far cry from the majority of the games we’ve talked about, Lumen requires flexing your brain a lot more than your reflexes to solve a nearly endless variety of laser-based puzzles.
